I can hardly believe it, but my little lady is now a nursery school student!
She has been going to the Pullman Montessori School for just about a month now and LOVES it!
Her first few days were awesome:
she happily walked into the classroom like a little independent woman! I was so proud!
For the past week, she has been a little hesitant to say goodbye to her mama, but once she is in class, she has a great time.
She loves to sing all of the songs from school:
ABC's
Old MacDonald Had a Farm (her favorite)
Ring around the Rosie
She loves to talk about her friends and all the fun they have.
It is really incredible to see how much she has grown and changed already!
She is talking more and in more complex sentences:
Mila helps mama
I am running
Look, mama, I see ______ (a dog, a kitty, etc)
We were initially a little worried because she is the smallest in her class and the other children could climb all of the building's stairs without issue. Mila struggled because she is so teeny. At the end of her first week, the school's director sent an email that said:
Just to let you know that today Mila reached up and held the rail and climbed the stairs all the way to the top all by herself. She was so proud! She is having a great day today.

Here she is refusing to pose on her first day of school
As a funny little story:
All of the students have inside shoes that they wear in the classroom and outside shoes that they change out of in the hall.
One day, we went to change into Mila's outside shoes before going home and they were nowhere to be seen.
We informed her teacher and we all theorized that another child had accidentally worn them home.
An email was sent out and a sign was written by the sign-in sheet.
Still no sign of the shoes.
Because the school is in a city building, there are security cameras in the hallways. Mila's teacher decided to review the footage to see if the shoe-taker could be identified.
Well, the location of the shoes was definitely determined.
The footage showed my little lady taking off her shoes and then, instead of placing them under the bench with the other shoes, Mila promptly walked over to the trashcan and threw her shoes away.
No one saw her do this. The janitor took the trash out about five minutes later.
Her shoes are now in the dump.
The girl loves to help throw things away.
